Job Overview Ensure that planned collagen manufacturing processes are executed on time and in strict compliance with GMP, GDP, ISO, and other relevant standards. Ensures adherence to manufacturing procedures, engineering specifications, and Quality Systems requirements. Verifies that all process testing and procedures are properly executed, and oversee the safe and effective distribution of components across departments and storage locations. Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties Safety & Compliance Understand, adhere to, and actively enforce all safety policies, procedures, and practices
Follow all Getinge and site-specific policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste where required
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements while reinforcing expectations across the team Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practice Ensure and enforce compliance with cGMP/GDP and Quality Systems requirements across all manufacturing activities
Accurately weigh, calculate, and reconcile materials in accordance with manufacturing procedures
Complete and review all required documentation (batch records, logs, BOMs, routers) legibly and in real time to ensure accuracy and data integrity
Accept or reject product based on established quality standards, testing, and defect classification, and guide operators in meeting these standards Operations & Manufacturing Execution Manufacture collagen products and support related manufacturing activities, including operating, setting up, sanitizing, maintaining, and calibrating manufacturing equipment
Maintain inventory of manufacturing supplies and components, including ordering, replenishment, and material flow across departments and storage locations
Perform or coordinate routine and minor equipment maintenance and ensure activities are properly documented
Provide real-time direction, training, and feedback to operators to ensure execution of production plans and adherence to standards
Act as the liaison between leadership and operators, ensuring alignment on priorities, performance expectations, and continuous improvement opportunities
Identify, support, and implement process improvements with emphasis on safety, quality, ergonomics, and cost efficiency
Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members and support development of operator capability
Work independently or collaboratively while building cross-functional process proficiency. Hazardous Materials & Emergency Response Perform duties involving hazardous materials handling and emergency response in compliance with regulatory and site requirements, including acquiring and maintaining

training Perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and containment activities as needed Respond to environmental and safety incidents (e.g., chemical spills, contamination events) and take appropriate action to contain and mitigate hazards Operate light and heavy equipment, including pumps, vacuum systems, and spill response tools Use hand and powered industrial tools (pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic) as required for response and cleanup activities Adhere to and enforce all Health & Safety regulations, including proper use of PPE (respiratory, skin, face, hand, and foot protection) Work in environments with potential exposure to hazardous, toxic, or corrosive substances while maintaining safe operating practices Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy materials, as required to support response and cleanup operations Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years in a manufacturing environment or a bachelor's degree in a relevant major (biology, biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry, manufacturing, engineering) Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and safely use hand tools Ability to read gauges and use basic measuring instruments Proficient in using computer-based systems to operate equipment and interpret data Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to operate computerized scales and related equipment Forklift certification (or ability to obtain per company requirements) Working knowledge of ISO and FDA regulations preferred Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.
