Candidates must have previous experience preparing batches within a manufacturing environment such as food, chemical, etc.

- 6:00 AM 2-2-3 schedule
- 3 day weekend every other week!
Pay:
$19.67/hour + $1.50 shift differential (potential play increase once hired directly with the company) Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our production team in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for batching ingredients, operating and monitoring processing equipment, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and production standards. Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor processing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and product specifications
Batch and measure raw ingredients into hoppers and processing equipment based on batch cards and production instructions (including Brix, pH, and acid levels)
Verify all materials (item codes, lot numbers, weights, and descriptions) to ensure accuracy and traceability
Maintain strict food safety and quality standards when handling ingredients and throughout production processes
Monitor production and stop processes to report any issues related to quality, food safety, or equipment performance
Support production start-up and shutdown procedures
Accurately record critical control points, ingredient usage, and production data in real time
Complete all required batch paperwork and documentation with a high level of accuracy
Identify equipment or process issues and submit work orders for repairs
Communicate equipment, material, and quality concerns to incoming shifts
Assist with cleaning and sanitation of equipment, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and PPE requirements at all times
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Minimum of 6 months of food processing, cooking, or related manufacturing experience
Ability to use basic tools such as knives, pumps, and scales
Basic math skills, including measurements and calculations
Ability to read and interpret batch instructions, safety guidelines, and operating procedures
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing or processing environments
Familiarity with RedZone or similar production systems
Lockout/Tagout training
Strong communication and teamwork skills IND38
