Custodian/Battery Technician We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Facilities team as a Custodian/Battery Technician All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Pay:

$19.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Pull pallets and clean slots. Empty trash cans in and around the facility. Operate scrubber, pallet jacks, forklift equipment and scissor lifts. Clean outside areas and under dock plates as needed. Assist other service personnel with minor repairs including painting. Clean racks, fire systems, fire extinguishers, windows, office restrooms and break rooms, Remove snow from all walkways and exit doors, ability to operate snow removal equipment. Change batteries, battery maintenance, control the correct flow on battery life and document damage to equipment. Mix own cleaning solutions to appropriate strength, replenishes soap, towels, tissue containers, and performs related tasks. Housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, warehouse, freezer areas, and public areas in clean and orderly condition. Sweep, dust, mop, strip waxing, and vacuuming floors while using equipment such as brooms, vacuum buffer, and shampooer for all areas in the facility.

Required:

Use cleaning chemical safely. Work on ladders and in confined areas safely. Take instructions and work well independently. Read and understand cleaning instructions and information. Understand and operate all equipment safely (buffer, scrubber, scissor lift, and pallet jack). Work in different temperatures for sustained periods of time (-10 degrees, 30 degrees, and room temperature). Must have 1+ years experience operating an electric Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift. General understanding of electrical safety.
