Job Description
AUECC-Reno, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for our plant located just East of Reno, NV. If you are looking for an exciting long-term career, we have a great opportunity for you to join our team and enjoy the many great benefits we have to offer. Position Responsibilities
- Operate chemical process equipment within safe operating ranges.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and company standards to ensure safety, health, and environmental excellence.
- Support improvements in Safety, Quality and Production.
- Conduct simple preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot process related issues such as pumps, equipment, and processes.
- Take samples and send to lab for testing.
- Maintain optimum control, efficiency and safety of the unit and equipment by monitoring and evaluating process variables and sample results.
- Knowledge in starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery and process equipment.
- Understanding and performing Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Math problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Requires the use of a respirator.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Experience in a warehouse/plant/manufacturing Must be able to work any shift in a 24/7 operation.
