Process Operator Hanford Pharmaceuticals - 2.3 Syracuse, NY Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Parental leave Employee assistance program Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Referral program Qualifications High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Analysis skills Attention to detail Manufacturing maintenance Full Job Description Duties associated with this position include: Perform the operations and processes to manufacture cephalosporin pharmaceuticals for veterinary use Complete compounding, blending, compression and other required processing steps to manufacture tablets Perform filling and packaging activities Set up equipment and line for operations and ensure calibrations are current Complete all required in-process testing at specified intervals Verify all raw materials against weighing order and inventory sheets Ensure packaging components are checked in prior to use Perform calculations following prescribed formula to determine the required quantities of raw materials needed Strict adherence to standard operating procedures, and proper record keeping including a working knowledge of the done by/checked by process are required Perform prescribed inspection procedures Complete all batch record paperwork Process returns to stock and rejected material per procedure Change and review room temperature charts and ensure parameters are met Coordinate deliveries and sampling with warehouse and lab personnel Follow detailed instructions to complete equipment assembly, set up, and disassembly and cleaning Perform required cleaning operations for facility and equipment 1st shift positions are available. Typical 1st shift schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 5 days per week
