  • First Shift Walor North America is looking for a Process Technician to join its Maintenance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and safety. This role works closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. What you will do Monitor daily production processes to ensure equipment and operations are running within established parameters Troubleshoot process issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns in real time Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Set up, adjust, and optimize machinery and process settings to improve efficiency and reduce scrap Collaborate with Quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards Document process changes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Support new product launches, process trials, and equipment validations Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, downtime, and scrap Assist with preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance technicians as needed Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned What you will bring High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or automated systems Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications Proficiency with basic computer systems (ERP, Excel, data tracking tools) What is in it for you?
