Job Description
Operator - MFG Equipment I Are you passionate about manufacturing operations and working with industrial equipment? Do you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards? Partnering with the Best As an Operator - MFG Equipment I, you will support manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, handling materials, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality requirements. You will work closely with production teams to meet operational goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. As an Operator - MFG Equipment I, you will be responsible for: Operating manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety requirements. Reading and interpreting routine work instructions, production documents, and specifications. Performing basic mathematical calculations to support manufacturing and inspection activities. Using general hand tools and precision measuring instruments to complete assigned tasks. Handling and moving materials safely using approved equipment and methods. Operating material-moving equipment and overhead cranes, or obtaining required certifications as needed. Conducting basic equipment checks and reporting any operational or quality concerns. Maintaining accurate production records and documentation. Following Baker Hughes HSE policies, quality standards, and work instructions. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, organized work area. To be successful in this role, you will: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Have a minimum of 6 months of manufacturing or industrial experience. Have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand tools and measuring equipment. Have the ability to read and interpret routine instructions and manufacturing documentation. Have basic mathematical and problem-solving skills. Have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Have the ability to obtain certification to operate material-moving equipment and overhead cranes, if required.
