SCOPE :

Process Technician is responsible for setting up, processing and qualifying precision parts, while monitoring production.

DUTIES:

o Monitor lines o Verify material matches bill of material (BOM) o Set cycle times for standard efficiency o Verify component material part number against production BOM o Logbook entry/ Pass down of shifts issues o Make set up / repair and troubleshoot machines to produce quality parts o Stop presses for color changes and purge out remaining material per work instruction and standard operation procedures (SOP) o Perform Mold Changes / Tool pulls and sets o Ensures all molds and molding machine runs at maximum performances o Inspect production - first piece o Inspect production - in process o Notify Quality if a defect is detected o Analyze problem areas when parts are not meeting quality specification. Make all required adjustments to ensure that all parts meet specification for size/appearance and functionality o Maintain and complete all necessary reports and records o Communicate and work with supervisors to determine production priorities on a daily shift activities and on mold and machines issues. o Continuously work for best quality and productivity on line o Apply the Standardized work in the work place and participate to the improvements of standards o Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well maintain good housekeeping and GMP practices o Other duties as may be assigned by management Education & Requirements o High School diploma or G.E.D o Technical Degree in a process related field preferred o Self-Motivated o Must be able to troubleshoot machines in a systematic manner o Understand machine functionality o Must be able to work in a safe manner and follow safety rules

SPECIAL NOTES

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, climb, reach, stooping, step onto the machine for parts and balancing when stepping on the machine for trouble shooting. Employee will be occasionally required to lift up to 55 pounds, kneel and crawl

Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
