COATING MACHINE OPERATOR
We are launching a brand-new, manufacturing plant and looking for motivated Production Coating Operators to join our founding team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our brand-new hot melt calender line, operating advanced machinery to coat and process high-quality materials.
What You Will Do Machine Operation:
Set up, run, and monitor the hot melt calender line according to equipment and product specifications.
Process Control:
Monitor control panels and settings, temperature gauges, pressure settings, and line speeds to ensure the hot melt compound applies perfectly.
Material Handling:
Load raw materials onto the line and thread them through accumulators and rollers.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect coated products for defects, measuring thickness and and widths to meet strict quality standards.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process adjustments to minimize downtime.
Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform basic preventative maintenance on the calender rolls and equipment.
What We Are Looking For Experience:
1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, extrusion, web handling, laminating, or calender operations is preferred. Initial Training on Calender Line 10.
Technical Aptitude:
Comfort using computerized machinery screens and mechanical tools.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, basic math skills for measurements, and a strong commitment to safety.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent minimum. All candidates will be required to successfully complete the following
