Job Description
Essential Functions:
Water Production Operator I - $16.43 - $23.41 Hourly- Collects and performs Water Quality Tests
- Performs calculations for chemical additions; fills and adjusts chemical feeder
- Performs custodial duties, such as sweep, mop, etc.
- Troubleshoots equipment and process control problems
- Assists Operator with maintaining SCADA to ensure proper water levels and system pressures
- Assists Operator with minor maintenance of feed pumps, instrumentation, etc.
- Drains sludge and backwashes filters Water Production Operator II - $19.88 - $28.33 Hourly
- Gathers and performs Water Quality Tests
- Maintains proper water levels in storage tanks
- Troubleshoots equipment and process control problems
- Performs minor maintenance
- Prepares chemical solutions and calibrates process instruments
- Performs calculations for chemical additions
- Records hourly meter readings and backwashes filters
- Fills and adjusts chemical feeders
- Performs jar tests
- Maintains process control balance to maintain quality and regulatory compliance Water Production Operator III- $21.87 - $31.16 Hourly
- Collect and perform Water Quality Tests.
