This position is responsible for safely operating industrial food-processing equipment, maintaining product quality, following established procedures, and supporting efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor industrial food-processing equipment. Follow recipes, production specifications, and documented standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor and adjust processing variables to maintain consistent product quality. Monitor fryer and oil temperatures and make adjustments as needed to meet production specifications. Perform product quality checks, testing, and required data collection. Receive and physically unload bulk materials used in the manufacturing process. Inspect incoming loads to ensure materials meet company quality standards. Communicate material and production needs to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues and work toward determining root causes. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety, quality, food safety, and operating procedures. What We're Looking For Ability to read, understand, and effectively communicate instructions with team members. Basic math skills, including conversions, formulas, and calculating production run rates. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use sound judgment in a fast-paced production environment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint . Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a production team. Manufacturing, food processing, production, or equipment operation experience is a plus. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8-12 hours during a shift. Ability to work in seasonal production areas where temperatures can exceed 100°F . Ability to work around industrial equipment and processing environments. Regular exposure to food-processing chemicals and varying environmental and equipment temperatures. Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including receiving and unloading bulk materials.
