Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Technician to support the Magnet Technology group in developing advanced manufacturing technologies for high-performance rare earth permanent magnets. The Technician will perform experimental trials, operate and maintain pilot plant equipment, prepare and test materials, and document and provide critical data for process development. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in returning an essential manufacturing capability to the USA.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment for prototyping magnets with occasional support for production operations.

Prepare, handle, and process raw materials, powders, and samples according to SOPs.

Perform measurements and collect process data using laboratory instruments.

Assist in pilot-scale experimental trials and provide accurate documentation of results.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace.

Work closely with EHS to ensure that all work is done to ensure world-class health and safety, and full compliance with relevant environmental regulations.

Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

1+ years of hands-on experience operating equipment with HMI.

1+ years of experience in the field of metal or ceramic manufacturing, including casting, powder processing, heat treatments, machining, and/or surface finishing.
