Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hot Oil Operator to join our manufacturing team in a dynamic pharmaceutical or industrial chemical production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hot oil systems used in the processing of chemical agents, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production processes. Responsibilities Operate hot oil systems and associated material handling equipment following manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other critical parameters to ensure optimal system performance. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hot oil equipment to prevent malfunctions or safety hazards. Handle industrial chemicals and chemical agents with adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards. Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment safely for the transportation of raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the facility. Follow strict PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines, including respiratory protection when handling hazardous substances or working in confined spaces. Document all operational activities accurately, including shift reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation. Requirements Proven experience operating hot oil systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or industrial chemical plant. Strong mechanical knowledge related to process equipment, piping systems, valves, and machining components. Familiarity with GMP, CGMP, safety protocols, and regulatory/legal compliance standards specific to pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, temperature conversions, and chemical quantities. Experience with laboratory procedures or laboratory environment is a plus for understanding quality control processes. Knowledge of industrial chemical handling procedures and material handling equipment operation such as forklifts. Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE usage such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gear.
