Job Description:

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n \n\n

• Entry level colleague who participates in training, learning about Greif systems, and assisting to set up, monitor and troubleshoot blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion molding machinery.\n \n\n
• Assists in the setup of machinery for different production runs, following established procedures to ensure smooth transitions.\n\nCommunicates machinery issues to maintenance.\n \n\n
• Assists in the operation of plastic molding, extrusion, and other plastic processing equipment.\n \n\n
• Learns and helps monitor the production process, ensuring that machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products.\n \n\n
• Performs routine maintenance duties on cleaning and basic adjustments to machinery.\n \n\n
• Troubleshoots minor machine issues under the supervision of senior technicians.\n \n\n
• Documents production data, maintenance activities, and quality data observed during the production.\n \n\n
• Performs basic quality control checks, ensuring products meet required specifications and industry standards.\n \n\n
• Participates in quality assurance activities such as inspection and testing of products.\n \n\n
• Works closely with senior technicians, operators, and supervisors to ensure daily production operation.\n \n\n
• Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines while performing tasks.\n \n\n
• Prepares raw materials and additives for use in production.\n \n\n
• Loads materials into machinery and ensure proper feeding during production runs.\n \n\n
• Performs other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation & Experience\n \n\n
• Typically possesses a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience.\n\nKnowledge & Skills\n \n\n
• Basic understanding of plastic manufacturing processes.\n \n\n
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.\n \n\n
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.\n \n\n
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machinery operations.\n \n\n
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.\n \n\n
• Adherence to safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing se.
