Field-Based | Day Shift 10/4 Schedule Position Summary This hands-on role supports daily field activities including equipment inspections, reading and reporting pressure levels. Operators are expected to work both independently and as part of a team on a rotational 10/4 schedule. Primary Responsibilities Start, stop, and monitor reciprocating or turbine engines (such as Caterpillar and Waukesha units) and gas compressors Read and record operating pressures, temperatures, and run hours from gauges or computerized control panels. Adjust valves and control systems to regulate and route gas flow through pipelines. Maintain daily logs, shift reports, and documentation on maintenance or emissions. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in midstream, pipeline, plant, or compressor station operations. Proficient in basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email, mobile data entry). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with gas compression, dehydration, and NGL handling. Familiarity with safety programs, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance.
