Job Description
Chemical Process Operator Green River, Utah A1 Lithium is developing the Green River Lithium Project in Utah using innovative Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology. We are seeking a Chemical Process Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of our pilot and demonstration plant. Key Responsibilities Work 8-hour shifts, including day, evening, and/or night shifts. Operate automatic and manual chemical process equipment according to operating procedures. Operate mixers, agitators, pumps, valves, gauges, and automated and manual delivery systems. Support liquid and chemical batch processing. Offload and package intermediate and final products and manage waste. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE requirements. Use Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and maintain safe chemical-handling practices. Conduct routine quality testing and respond to process deviations. Perform basic preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting. Support safety audits and escalate safety concerns appropriately. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Up to 2 years of experience operating process equipment. Experience in mineral processing or lithium brine operations is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work flexible schedules, including multi-shift operations, nights, and weekends. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role and wear required PPE, including a full-face respirator. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
