Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented OSD Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of oral solid dosage (OSD) pharmaceutical products. Duties Operate and monitor production equipment for OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow detailed manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines to maintain product quality and regulatory adherence. Handle industrial chemicals and pharmaceutical agents safely, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves. Conduct routine equipment inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing minor repairs or adjustments as needed. Manage materials handling using material handling equipment like forklifts, ensuring proper storage, transfer, and inventory control of raw materials and finished products. Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to chemical agent handling, machinery operation, and PPE usage to maintain a safe working environment. Document all production activities accurately in compliance with regulatory/legal standards, including batch records, incident reports, and shift logs. Skills Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. Experience with pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards such as CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and laboratory procedures. Mechanical knowledge for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment. Familiarity with handling industrial chemicals safely within a regulated environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to manufacturing processes, measurements, and quality checks. Certification or experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts. Understanding of packaging processes for pharmaceutical products and materials handling techniques. Knowledge of machining or equipment calibration is a plus for maintaining optimal machinery performance.
