• Overtime Friday & Saturday Position Summary Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment to produce quality parts according to production schedules, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.

Essential Duties Operate laser cutting machines safely and efficiently. Load and unload sheet metal or other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings. Select and run appropriate machine programs. Verify dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and other inspection tools. Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections. Troubleshoot cutting issues and make machine adjustments as needed. Complete production and quality documentation. Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping of equipment and work area. Follow all safety and PPE requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience operating CNC laser equipment preferred. Ability to read mechanical drawings and measure accurately. Basic computer skills. Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physical Requirements Standing and walking for most of the shift. Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (varies by employer). Exposure to manufacturing noise and shop conditions.
