GENERAL MISSION

The Machinist is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining machines to produce precision metal or plastic parts according to specifications. This role ensures high-quality output, adheres to safety standards, and contributes to continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTES

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders. Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and/or manual machining equipment. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications. Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machinery as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and company protocols. Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and other team members to optimize production processes. Maintain accurate production records and document any machine maintenance or issues.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL

: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or machining certification preferred. Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role. Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments. Experience with CNC machines is highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
