The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a CNC Machinist/Operator to work at a company located in the Jonesboro, AR area!

Benefits:

Monday-Friday Requirements:
1.
Education:
High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in metal fabrication is a plus. 2.
Experience:
1 to 3+ years working in an industrial manufacturing or metal fabrication environment operating CNC machinery. 3.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, proficiently use micrometer, proficiently use calipers, interpret and read shop drawings, and geometric tolerances. 4.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long shifts and frequently lift or move materials weighing 35 to 50 pounds. 5.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, basic shop math skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Job Description:
A CNC Machinist sets up, programs, and operates computer-controlled machinery to cut, shape, and finish precision metal and plastic parts. 1.
Read Blueprints:
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD/CAM files to understand exact part dimensions. 2.
Setup and Program:
Install cutting tools, secure raw materials, and input programs to guide machine operations. 3.
Monitor and Inspect:
Oversee production runs and use precision measuring tools like calipers to check that finished parts match specifications. 4.
Troubleshoot:
Fix minor machine errors, adjust speeds and feeds, and perform routine equipment maintenance. 5.
Operator:
Focuses on loading parts, running cycles, and basic quality checks. 6.
Machinist:
