CNC Machine Operator Diversified Metal Fabrication - 4.6 Mesa, AZ Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Computer operation Forklift High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Materials handling Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Machine Operator to operate CNC metal-fabrication equipment in our shop. Our equipment includes a Voortman V310 plate-processing system with plasma cutting and drilling, a Star Technology tube bender/roller, a Flow waterjet, and a Bend-Tech Dragon CNC plasma tube cutter. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC or metal-fabrication machinery, can read shop drawings and blueprints, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts. Training will be available for a mechanically inclined candidate with relevant shop experience. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC metal-processing equipment, including: Voortman V310 plasma cutting and drilling system Star Technology tube bender/roller Flow waterjet cutting system Bend-Tech Dragon plasma tube cutter Load programs, materials, tooling, and consumables for each job Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, cut lists, and work orders Verify material type, thickness, dimensions, and job specifications before production Measure completed parts using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other inspection tools Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments when necessary Identify and report equipment, programming, or quality issues Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and basic preventive maintenance Replace consumables and tooling as required Label, organize, and stage completed parts for the next production step Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized Maintain accurate production and material records Keep the work area clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC machinery or metal-fabrication equipment preferred Experience with plasma cutting, drilling, waterjet cutting, tube processing, or bending is a plus Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and basic dimensional information Comfortable using common measuring and inspection tools Basic computer skills and the ability to learn machine-control software Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines High school diploma or equivalent preferred Forklift experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, climb, and work around industrial equipment Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in a fabrication-shop environment with noise, sparks, dust, heat, and moving equipment Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
