In this role, you will operate and program CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical troubleshooting will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and contribute to high-quality manufacturing outcomes. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately machine parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust parameters for precision machining. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment, including CNC lathes, press brakes, stamping presses, and other related machinery. Measure finished components using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure dimensional accuracy. Maintain detailed records of machine settings, production data, and quality control inspections. Adhere to safety standards in production environments while handling materials and operating industrial tools like forklifts and hand tools. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC milling machines with a strong understanding of CNC programming and CAM software. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications accurately. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of mechanical systems, shop math, tooling setup, and fabrication techniques within a manufacturing environment. Experience with precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and understanding of GD&T principles. Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC troubleshooting, and industrial equipment maintenance. Ability to work safely following all safety standards in production settings while handling materials and machinery efficiently.
