Position Responsibilities:

  • Job Description (for job ad) A CNC Operator sets up and runs computer‑controlled machinery to cut, form, or shape metal components.
Responsibilities typically include:
Operating CNC machines (lathes, mills, plasma cutters, etc.) Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work orders Loading materials and setting machine parameters Monitoring machine operation and adjusting settings as needed Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to verify accuracy Ensuring parts meet quality and dimensional specifications Maintaining a clean and safe work area Sandblaster
  • Job Description A Sandblaster prepares and finishes metal surfaces using industrial blasting equipment.
Responsibilities typically include:
Operating sandblasting machinery to clean, smooth, or prepare metal surfaces Removing rust, scale, paint, and other surface contaminants Inspecting materials before and after blasting to ensure quality standards Handling and maintaining blasting equipment, hoses, nozzles, and protective gear Following safety procedures and wearing required PPE Preparing work areas and properly disposing of blasting media Working with fabrication teams to ensure parts meet specifications
Physical Requirements:
Constant standing Frequent walking, stooping, and bending Occasional crouching and squatting Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly Must comply with all company safety requirements
Preferred Experience:
CNC operation Prior heavy manufacturing experience Forklift operation
