Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing to the overall quality and success of our manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about machining, fabrication, and manufacturing technology to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers in accordance with technical drawings and production specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to determine machining requirements. Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial equipment including Fanuc controls, press brake machines, stamping presses, and other fabrication tools. Follow safety standards in production environments by adhering to proper lockout/tagout procedures, wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and maintaining a clean work area. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, materials handling, tooling setup, and packaging of finished products to meet quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings. Proficiency in CNC programming using CAM software; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Knowledge of shop math including basic calculations for measurements and tolerances. Ability to use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and shop math tools accurately. Mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting industrial equipment and performing routine maintenance. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments including proper use of hand tools and materials handling techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and dimensional accuracy. Prior experience working with fabrication processes such as stamping presses or press brake machines is a plus. Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to manufacturing excellence! We value safety, precision, innovation, and continuous improvement—qualities that drive our success every day.
