CNC Operator Job Description Shifts Available:

1st ($20.00/hr) and 2nd ($21.00/hr)

Location:

San Diego, 92121 Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in operating CNC machinery, particularly HAAS machines. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures. Duties Operate CNC machines, including machining centers and stamping presses, to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. Set up and adjust CNC machines according to production requirements. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions. Collaborate with team members. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Experience Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Experience with CAM programming is a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidates must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15, as the San Diego, CA facility is an ITAR-controlled site.
