•Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines, ensuring accurate cuts based on technical blueprints and production documents Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of CNC equipment to maintain optimal performance Measure finished components with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and shop math techniques to verify dimensional accuracy Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety standards in production environments Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, and packaging of finished products for shipment or assemblyRequirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC plasma cutters. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and fabrication processes Familiarity with shop math and the use of precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers for quality control Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining safety standards in the workplace Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, materials handling, and machine operation within a manufacturing environment Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts.
