CNC Brake Press OperatorPosition Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC brake press equipment, producing quality parts according to blueprints and specifications, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, able to work independently, and eager to learn and develop their skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC brake press equipment to bend and form parts according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications. Select, install, and change brake press tooling as required for different jobs. Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed to achieve the required part dimensions and specifications. Inspect first articles and finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements. Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain part quality and accuracy. Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications. Complete required production counts, documentation, daily production logs, and worksheets accurately and timely. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage of tools and equipment. Perform routine care and assist with the maintenance of equipment and supplies. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Work effectively with team members and other departments to meet production goals. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Ability to read and understand a measuring tape. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Basic math skills and the ability to perform general calculations. Basic knowledge and safe use of power tools. Familiarity with CNC brake press tooling and setup. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a production environment. Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn. Demonstrated interest in developing technical and manufacturing skills. Work Environment This position requires working in a manufacturing/shop environment. Employees are expected to follow all safety requirements and maintain appropriate housekeeping and safety standards at all times.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
