CNC Operator Stone/Slab

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator specializing in Stone and Slab fabrication to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate advanced CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish stone slabs with precision and efficiency. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools to process stone slabs accurately according to detailed blueprints and CAD drawings. Program CNC equipment using CAM programming software and Fanuc controls to optimize machining processes. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality standards throughout production. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with loading and unloading slabs on the fabrication line. Operate auxiliary machinery including press brake machines, stamping presses, welding equipment, and fabrication tools for finishing touches. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of production processes, quality control checks, and machine logs for continuous improvement. Support packaging, assembly line tasks, and warehouse activities as needed to meet production deadlines. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory environment. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and CAM programming software; familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings with GD&T specifications. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling, fabrication techniques, materials handling, and machining processes. Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar design tools is a plus. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse or factory setting. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments; familiarity with factory safety protocols is essential. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
