Responsibilities:

Set and adjust work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters; verify first-piece parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.

Technical skills:

Experience with CNC programming edits (G-code knowledge). Experience working with tight tolerances and complex machined components.

Software knowledge:

Siemens Control.

INDEX (C100 & C200)

Qualifications:

Prefer 3+ years of CNC lathe setup experience in precision manufacturing

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations
• Load materials into machines and adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot issues with machines or products and make necessary repairs or adjustments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements
• Previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably with knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Familiarity with lathe operations and logic controllers
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools effectively
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and basic math skills
