CNC Lathe Set-Up Operator Job Duties:

Set up and operate CNC lathes for production and prototype parts. Perform tool changes, tool offsets, and machine adjustments. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical documents. Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards. Troubleshoot machining and production issues. Meet production cycle times while maintaining accuracy. Pre-stage materials and support efficient production flow. Follow safety procedures and work instructions. Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements:

CNC Lathe Set-Up experience required. CNC Machining Certificate or 3+ years of machine shop experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T. Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Strong math, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty Lake, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
