Job Description

ECCO Machine is seeking an experienced Advanced CNC Machinist/Operator to join our firearm suppressor and accessory manufacturing team. An Advanced Operator is someone who can do much more than simply load stock/parts and press cycle start. The successful candidate must be capable of importing and exporting existing programs, changing tooling and fixtures, measuring and adjusting tool and work offsets, performing in-process inspections, replacing inserts and tooling as needed, and safely operating CNC equipment with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications
  • Due to Colorado laws enacted in 2024 and 2026 imposing additional state regulations and licensing requirements for Federal Firearm Licensees, applicants must be at least 21 years of age, legally eligible to possess firearms, and able to successfully complete the required fingerprint-based background check.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional CNC operation and setup experience, including CNC turning centers (lathes).
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement and quality inspection.
  • Ability to safely work independently while maintaining high quality standards. Preferred Qualifications
  • Manual machining experience.
  • TIG welding experience.
  • Laser welding experience.
  • Familiarity with Mazak and/or Fadal CNC machines.
  • CNC programming experience is a plus, although this position is not a programming position at this time. Programming knowledge may be considered for future responsibilities and compensation opportunities. Position Details
  • Full-time (32-40 hours per week)
  • Some initial scheduling flexibility to select shifts within our 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday operating hours.
  • Increased scheduling flexibility may become available for employees who demonstrate the ability to work safely and productively unsupervised.
  • PTO begins accruing immediately and becomes available in accordance with company policy.
  • Benefits:
    Paid time off begins accruing immediately. Following successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, employees become eligible for additional benefits, including a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and other benefits offered by ECCO Machine.
  • Pay:
    $30.00
  • 40.
00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Essential Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding manufacturing position.

Essential functions of this position require the ability to :
  • Stand and walk for the entirety of the work shift except for designated break and meal periods.
  • Lift and gently place items weighing up to 80 pounds/36 kilograms at least 40 inches/1 meter off the ground unassisted (team lifting or lifting equipment is available for heavier items)
  • Possess sufficient hand strength, arm strength and dexterity to install tool holders, tooling, fixtures and pieces of stock, among other manual tasks.
  • Reaching, bending, and working around CNC equipment to perform machine setup, tooling changes, inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Mental focus to maintain attention to detail while safely operating precision manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Visual acuity, with or without corrective eyewear, that is sufficient to detect very small flaws in parts.
  • Hearing acuity, with or without the aid of devices, that is sufficient to detect sounds which indicate problems occurring with a process in a machine.
