Position:
Operator- CNC Machine and Edgebander Position Responsibilities include: Set up tooling and operate CNC machine to process parts from plywood and other miscellaneous sheet goods Check fit tolerances and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper machining for successful assembly of parts by clients Operate and maintain vacuum crane Set up and operate CNC controlled edgebanding machine Communicate with programmers and management to coordinate machining changeovers Maintain clean and neat work environment Perform regular maintenance for machinery, and communicate with management to troubleshoot machinery when necessary Load and unload trucks with raw materials and pallets of finished products Verify material thickness and size measurements Skills required:•Ability to focus and plan ahead•Excellent communication skills•Attention to detail•Computer skills•Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently•Some woodworking knowledge or background is preferred•Willingness to work on your feet all day•Forklift experience a plus Education and Experience•Pay will be based on experience.
- CNC experience a plus but will train the right person
- STEM Education a plus
- Training Available for industry experience or education
