Job Description
About the Role As a CNC Milling Specialist, you will play a critical role in producing high-precision components that meet rigorous engineering standards. You will leverage your expertise in Mazatrol programming and G-Code to drive manufacturing efficiency while ensuring every part meets exacting tolerance requirements. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC milling equipment to manufacture complex parts with high accuracy. Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers to guarantee quality. Optimize machine performance through proactive troubleshooting and effective tool management. Collaborate with production teams to maintain workflow continuity and meet project deadlines. Uphold a high standard of shop floor organization and safety compliance. Document production data accurately to support inventory and quality tracking systems. Required Skills Proven experience operating and programming Mazak CNC machinery. Proficiency in reading and writing G-Code and utilizing Mazatrol controls. Ability to maintain tight tolerances within .0005. US Citizenship status to comply with federal security requirements. Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience with E2 or similar ERP shop management software. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior machinists in setup techniques. Experience working in high-security or defense-related manufacturing sectors.
