You're comfortable with shop math (decimals, fractions) and basic formulas, charts, and tables. You can read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and technical diagrams. You use measuring tools confidently and can interpret reports and production records. You plan work sequences and follow instructions and standard routines. You have a high school diploma or GED; 1-2 years' machine operation experience is preferred. What you'll tackle Learn to set up, run, and care for at least one CNC process machine (rotary, surface grinder, etc.). Perform fast, accurate machine set-ups and wheel changes to standard times. Record productivity, utilization, scheduling, and quality data; keep calibration and daily walk-around logs current. Complete in-process inspection to meet quality requirements.
