Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Router Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor an SCM 5' x 12' CNC Router to produce high-quality millwork components. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Set up, operate, and monitor an SCM 5' x 12' CNC Router Review work orders, shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC programs before production Verify materials, tooling, programs, and machine settings Load and unload sheet goods and components Monitor machine operation and inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy Use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools Identify incorrect cuts, tooling issues, damaged materials, or machine problems Make basic machine and tooling adjustments as needed Change router bits and tooling for different operations Label, organize, and stage completed parts for the next production process Track material usage and report shortages or damaged materials Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements Communicate production, quality, material, and machine concerns to the team Work with Engineering and Production when clarification is needed Qualifications Hands-on experience setting up, operating, and monitoring an SCM 5' x 12' CNC Router Must be available and willing to work 2nd shift Ability to read and understand shop drawings, work orders, and basic technical information Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic shop math Strong attention to detail and quality Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the production team Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent production pace Willingness to learn company production standards and processes Must be local to the Miami, FL area Preferred / Plus Previous CNC machine operation experience Woodworking, cabinet, architectural millwork, or manufacturing experience Experience operating an SCM CNC Router or similar CNC equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand around production machinery for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, and position materials and components Ability to safely handle sheet goods and manufactured components Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive production tasks Ability to work in a woodworking/manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and moving equipment Work Location Miami, FL — In person
Pay:
