Job Description

Job Summary:
The Robotic Welding Operator 1 is responsible for the operation of automated welding and cutting equipment. The individual is responsible for cutting parts and loading raw material as well as loading programs, running jobs, changing fixtures, and performing other related activities.
Essential Duties:
Loading of parts into fixtures and running of CNC programs (60%) Setting up fixture and programs on Robotic Welders/Cutters and CNC equipment (20%) Supporting Team Member in fabrication of assemblies (10%) Misc. support to organization (10%)
Job Specification:
A minimum of a High School Diploma Ability to read, write clearly and do simple math English as a primary language Good verbal communication skills Must be able to work with others
Skills and Abilities:
Basics of MIG Welding and capability to weld. Understanding of Technical Drawings/Prints Strong spoken and written English communication skills Ability to read tape measure Filling out and changing of work orders, filling out other paperwork Operation of basic computer function on a PC.
Working Climate:
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Able to stand, sit, walk, lift, and reach for a full 8-hour day. Must be physically able to function within all process steps of the department.
