Job Description
We're looking for someone to setup and run parts with little to no assistance. Most part runs are quantity of 50-100, most parts are steel but we occasionally run aluminum. There is a bit of R&D work required from time to time, with between 3 and 5 parts being made. Minimum of 3 years of CNC experience is ideal but you'll be considered if you have at least 1. Programming experience is a plus. Deburring and inspection of parts is done at the machine, and it is the operator's responsibility to keep the machines maintained and surrounding area clean. Experience on VMCs and turning centers required; We have 2 Haas mills and 2 Haas lathes, so experience on those is a big plus. We are a very small company so the ideal candidate will have other skills such as sandblasting, finishing, gunsmithing/mechanical assembly. Since we are a firearm manufacturer we can only hire non-felon U.S. citizens. We generally work from 10am - 6pm, but hours can be somewhat flexible and we will consider part-time candidates. While we offer paid holidays and vacations, we don't offer health insurance so please keep that in mind. At this time we are only considering candidates who are currently living in the Tampa Bay area.
