Job Description

STER North America is looking for a reliable and hands-on Material Handling & CNC Operator to support our warehouse and production operations. This position combines material handling, shipping and receiving, forklift operation, and operation of CNC cutting and other production equipment. Responsibilities Operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and finished products safely throughout the facility. Prepare finished products for shipping , including packing, labeling, palletizing, and staging shipments. Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries. Receive materials and verify quantities against shipping documents. Maintain organized inventory and warehouse areas. Operate a CNC fabric cutting machine / cutting plotter . Load materials onto the cutting table and prepare the machine for production. Follow cutting files, patterns, and production instructions. Operate a handheld router (hand milling tool) and other basic production tools. Inspect cut parts and materials for quality and accuracy. Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance. Assist production departments with material movement and other tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety and quality procedures. Qualifications Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or machine-operation experience preferred. Forklift experience required Experience operating CNC equipment, cutting machines, plotters, routers, or similar equipment is a plus. Comfortable using hand and power tools. Ability to read measurements and use the metric and imperial measurement systems . Basic computer skills. Ability to follow production drawings, work instructions, and cutting patterns. Good attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new equipment. Ability to safely lift and move materials as required. Schedule Full-time position. Candidates should be available for overtime and occasional Saturdays when production requirements require it . About the Position This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities rather than performing the same task throughout the day. The employee will work between warehouse, shipping, material handling, and CNC cutting operations and will be trained on our specific equipment and processes.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
