About the Role As a CNC Plasma Technician, you will play a critical role in our production cycle by programming and operating advanced cutting equipment to prepare high-quality components for assembly. Your expertise in interpreting technical blueprints and optimizing material nesting will directly impact our ability to meet precise engineering standards and production timelines. Responsibilities Program, calibrate, and operate CNC plasma cutting tables to produce components that meet rigorous ASME specifications. Analyze complex blueprints and technical drawings to perform accurate layout and material nesting for maximum efficiency. Execute routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent output. Utilize overhead cranes and specialized lifting equipment to safely load and unload heavy plate materials. Maintain a high-standard workspace by strictly adhering to 5S methodology and Lean Manufacturing principles. Identify optimal cut start points and material specifications to ensure precision and reduce waste. Collaborate with production teams to ensure all fabricated parts align with final assembly requirements. Qualifications Required Skills 1-2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery, such as plasma tables, drills, or plate rollers. Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and engineering schematics. Strong mathematical aptitude and computer literacy for inputting precise material specifications. Proven ability to operate overhead cranes and other heavy lifting equipment safely. Commitment to workplace safety protocols and quality control standards. Preferred Skills Technical certification or vocational training in machining or manufacturing technology.
