Our facility includes departments for fabrication, CNC burn table operations, grinding, stress relieving, and on-site machining within a climate-controlled environment. Overview We are seeking a dynamic CNC Burn Table Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and programming a CNC burn table to cut metal components 1/4"-6" thick with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be passionate about manufacturing excellence, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Duties Load, Set up and operate CNC burn tables using Fanuc controls to accurately cut metal sheets and plates according to detailed blueprints and CAD drawings. Program CNC burn tables utilizing CAM programming software to optimize cutting paths and improve productivity. Read and interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Maintain quality standards by inspecting finished parts with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Perform routine maintenance on CNC burn tables, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished parts. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production schedules. Deburr finished parts. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC burn tables or similar CNC machinery within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tools such as hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to interpret technical drawings including GD&T specifications; experience with CAD or SolidWorks is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for measuring and calculating dimensions during fabrication processes. Experience with other manufacturing equipment such as press brake machines, stamping presses, CNC lathes, milling machines, welding equipment, and fabricating tools is advantageous. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts for materials handling preferred. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience demonstrating reliability in a fast-paced environment.
