Job Description

CNC Mill Operator / CNC Operator / Operator Trainee position in a small machine shop. Work Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM on a 1st shift schedule, with a temp-to-hire arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC milling equipment safely and efficiently. Make program offsets and adjustments as needed. Perform setups and X/Y offsets for accurate hole placement. Read and use measuring tools such as calipers. Perform basic mathematical calculations necessary for machining. Operate or assist with other equipment, including CNC lathes and grinders. Assist with a variety of tasks throughout the shop. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow quality and safety procedures and produce parts to required specifications.
Qualifications:
Strong basic math skills. Mechanical aptitude and interest in machining. Ability to use calipers and other measuring equipment. Willingness to learn CNC operation, offsets, adjustments, setups, and machining processes. Dependable work history and strong attendance. Prior CNC or manufacturing experience helpful but not required. CNC mill operation. Making offsets and adjustments to existing programs. Making X and Y adjustments for accurate hole placement. CNC setups. Reading and understanding machining requirements. Working independently while maintaining quality and productivity.
Qualifications:
You have strong basic math and mechanical aptitude. You can read blueprints, set offsets, and adjust programs. You are dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn CNC
