MultiTech serves the Automotive, Industrial, Hydraulics and Power Transmission & Distribution market industries, with sales of $180 million. MultiTech operates seven manufacturing facilities and six distribution sites in the US, Mexico, and Asia. This role involves producing high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining tight-tolerance parts and a deep understanding of industrial manufacturing Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Machine equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs. (Citizen, Star, Miyano and Tornos experience preferred but not required) Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models specific to tooling applications. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360). Perform in-process and final inspections using precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, CMMs). Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes required for tooling applications. Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on CNC equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures. Skills and Technologies Strong basic math skills -all units of measure, fractions, decimals, etc. G-Code M-Code Blueprint Reading CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) CNC Lathe (Swiss Preferred but not required) Calipers, Micrometers, Drop Indicator, comparator etc. Program edits required Must be able to perform setups/offsets/tool changes Experience on Miyano and Tornos a plus. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining, engineering, or manufacturing preferred. 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a tooling or precision manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of steels, heat treatment, and surface finishing processes. Experience with CNC programming and CAM software. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35lbs. Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work. Exposure to shop environment with machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids. MultiTech Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
