Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator / Set Up operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating CNC equipment, ensuring parts are produced safely and accurately, and providing leadership and support to the night-shift team. The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC machining experience, understands basic G-code , and can troubleshoot common machining and production issues. This is a hands-on position for someone who can take ownership of their machines and help keep production running efficiently. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines to produce quality parts Read and understand basic CNC programs and G-code Make basic program edits and offsets as needed Inspect finished parts using standard measuring equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Monitor machine performance and production quality Troubleshoot common machining and tooling issues Change tooling and make necessary machine adjustments Maintain accurate production and quality records Help train and support other CNC operators Communicate production issues and priorities to management Help keep machines organized, productive, and running safely Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications Required:
CNC machine operating experience Basic knowledge of G-code Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings Ability to use basic inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and dependable work habits
Preferred:
CNC setup experience Experience making offsets and minor program adjustments Previous CNC lead or leadership experience Experience with CNC lathes and/or machining centers Experience troubleshooting tooling, setup, and quality issues What We're Looking For We are looking forthe right person will be dependable, hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable helping other operators while keeping production on schedule. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
