Job Description

Picture starting your day on a first-shift team in the Wheeling area, stepping up to a modern CNC milling workstation at an established precision manufacturer. Your work will help power aerospace, defense, medical, and other advanced applications that demand accuracy and consistency—every single cycle. A day in the life Run CNC milling machines to produce precision components to spec Load/unload parts, materials, and tooling to keep production moving Make basic offsets, adjustments, and tool changes as needed Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to understand requirements Verify part quality with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related inspection tools Watch machine performance during runs and flag potential quality or tooling issues early Hold tight tolerances and confirm parts meet quality standards Complete production documentation and follow established procedures Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for the next job What you'll bring Hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines (or similar CNC equipment) Comfort working in a precision machining/manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and other basic inspection tools Understanding of machining tools and fundamentals of CNC processes Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset CNC setup experience is a plus but not required Why this role 1st shift schedule Full-time, direct-hire position Stable, established precision manufacturer in the Wheeling area Modern CNC equipment and tight-tolerance work Exposure to aerospace, defense, medical, and other high-precision markets Grow your machining skills and advance within the company Benefits, PTO, and a long-term career opportunity If you're ready to build mission-critical parts with a team that values precision and growth, we'd like to meet you.
