Immediate Opening Position Overview Rhino Tool Company is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time CNC Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist looking for a flexible schedule while contributing to a quality-driven manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Load and unload parts into CNC machines efficiently and safely Perform de-flashing (removal of excess material) and basic finishing of machined parts Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify they meet blueprint specifications Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times Report machine issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervision promptly Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers Strong attention to detail with a consistent commitment to quality Able to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Skills Experience operating Okuma CNC machines Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Prior experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment Work Environment Indoor manufacturing shop — climate may vary seasonally Requires standing for extended periods, repetitive motion, and occasional lifting Personal protective equipment (PPE) required and provided Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $25•$29 per hour based on experience Shift differential pay for 2nd shift hours PTO / paid time off accrual Opportunity to transition to full-time employment based on performance and business needs Why Rhino Tool Established manufacturer with a reputation for quality and precision Supportive team environment where your skills are valued Stable, consistent schedule with flexibility for the right candidate How to Apply Please send your résumé and a brief note to careers@rhinotool.com.
