CNC Mill Operator - entry level

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating mill machine to produce manufacturing parts for processing/production. Use blueprints provided for specifications and configuration of parts. Essential duties include but not limited to:

• Programming, set-up, and running jobs
• Select appropriate tools and materials for manufacturing of parts
• Machine part according to design specifications
• Check the C/L using CNN
• Operate machine for maximum efficiency
• Troubleshooting and basic maintenance of machines
• Accurate measurements for set-up
• Work closely with inspection to ensure quality
• Achieve quantity and quality production levels
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Work Experience Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team and cross functional departments
• Must be able to read blue prints and take accurate measurements utilizing a variety of instruments (gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Able to measure C/L
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Critical thinking skills to reason and identify solutions
• Able to read work documents and perform basic math
• Knowledge of the Motorsports/off road industry highly desired
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour
