Job Description

CNC Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team. The position is responsible for operating CNC equipment to produce precision parts and components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC machine operating experience, knowledge of tooling and quality control, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to technical specifications. Operate CNC equipment using CAM software and understand basic G-code for machining operations. Operate auxiliary manufacturing equipment as needed. Perform routine inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Verify part dimensions and tolerances to ensure quality requirements are met. Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance. Safely handle materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all manufacturing and workplace safety procedures. Accurately document production activities and quality information. Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other common CNC control systems. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling and material-handling procedures. Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools . Basic understanding of G-code and CNC machining processes. Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and factory operations. Forklift certification is a plus. Basic math skills for machining calculations, measurements, and tolerances. Previous factory or warehouse experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively on 2nd or 3rd shift .

From $25.46 per hour
