This position is ideal for a machinist with hands-on CNC milling experience who is comfortable performing basic machine setups and operating HAAS and/or Okuma equipment .

$24.00-$27.50 per hour + 10% night shift premium (NSP)

Experience:

2-6 years preferred Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with advanced setup, machining, or programming experience. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines in a production environment Perform basic machine setups, including tooling and workholding Operate HAAS and/or Okuma CNC machines Load and unload parts and materials Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications Make basic machine and tooling adjustments as needed Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional and quality requirements are met Use standard measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers Monitor machine performance and identify potential tooling or production issues Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures Work closely with supervisors, quality personnel, and other machinists to meet production goals Qualifications 2-6 years of CNC milling or related machining experience preferred Experience with HAAS and/or Okuma machines Basic CNC setup skills required Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications Familiarity with precision measuring instruments Ability to work independently once trained Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent 2nd-shift schedule Compensation Starting pay is $24.00-$27.50 per hour, plus a 10% night shift premium . Candidates with stronger CNC setup, programming, HAAS/Okuma, or advanced machining experience may be considered for compensation above the posted range .
