Job Overview:
The CNC Machine Operator is an experienced machine operator who is disciplined, creative and an excellent problem solver who will thrive in our lean manufacturing environment. A successful candidate is a reliable individual who is able to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances with a strong mechanical aptitude.Responsibilities:
- Follow Standard Work Machine set up, running parts and preventative maintenance (PM).
- Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations and/or operate other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools which will be required for the next scheduled job.
- Update and maintain all visual controls and Create and/or support countermeasures and operate in and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Participate and engage in SMED, Kaizen events, and '5 Whys' problem-solving exercises.
- Resolve and/or report equipment abnormalities.
- Follow company safety procedures and standards to insure individual and collective safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co
- workers, contractors, customers, and property.
Requirements:
