The CNC Machine Operator operates tooling machines and produces high quality parts and products for Martin Engineering's customers within very tight specifications and with minimal tolerance for error. This position interprets blue prints and drawings to produce various products .
Responsibilities Include:
Reads and interprets blue prints, drawings, and bills of materials to produce the required parts. Conducts setup of tooling, downloads programs, produces parts according to
ISO 9001
standards. Maintains necessary inventory of supplies, drills, inserts, tooling, etc. Inspects machines for proper maintenance and needed repairs and submits maintenance requests as needed. Initiates procedures which comply with
OSHA/MSHA
requirements regarding safety issues.
Education, Experience & Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required. One or more years of CNC machining experience Experience with blue print reading and precision instruments.
